Home of the B-2 Bomber
We are putting together a very special behind the scenes look at the world-known and greatly respected nearby Whiteman Air Force base. We will be able to see many things not available on the regular monthly “public” tour. Included will be a briefing, B-2 simulators, aircraft, a trip down into Oscar One (deactivated missile launch control), K-9 military dog demonstration and much more especially arranged for us by the Air Force.
Security Clearance: We MUST have a copy of your driver license and your social security number to provide to the Air Force for a security clearance.
Please let us know the following: If you served, or are currently serving in the military and what branch? If you served in the Air Force, or if you were stationed at Whiteman AFB? What was your highest rank in the service. Please note if you were decorated and the highest medal awarded.
Please note that any national security issues might call for changes in the schedule, or cancellation.
We will depart from the Missouri State Fairgrounds at 8:00 am and return late afternoon early evening. Limited availability so make your reservations early! The tour fee is $20 per person, which covers transportation to and from the base. Lunch and driver gratuities on your own.
